Can we get some love for Timba? Irakere is a great Cuban band that has some incredible songs. But, as a jazz band, some of their songs can be inaccessible for beginners. Still, I love them. I found this old clip on YouTube, and had to post it. Although I love the smoothness of salsa, sometimes that beat-it-up vibe of timba is just the thing to get loose. 50 seconds into this clip, it goes down. Enjoy!
