At Hispanic Gala, Not A Single Wallflower

With salsa music and Hollywood celebrities to make the do-gooding more fun, 2,000 Latino political, business and entertainment types feasted and toasted at the Washington Convention Center for the cause of scholarships and fellowships sponsored by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. The idea is to groom a new generation in the peculiar folkways of political Washington and corporate America.
