Maraca at Yoshis in Oakland

With the recent passing of the legendary Richard Egües, Orlando "Maraca" Valle may well be the premier flute player in Cuba today. He came to prominence in the 1990s with Jesus Alemañy and Cubanismo, and quickly established himself as a versatile performer in both salsa and Latin jazz. The classically trained virtuoso makes a rare appearance at Yoshi's this week. [Editor: Not to be Missed!]
